MVVS motors hail from the Czech Republic and are known for their high quality. One commentator asserts that they are as good in quality as German motors, but at a fraction of the cost. Another commentator asserts that they would still be good value at double the price!

MVVS motors are third generation brushless motors designed by the original desiger of Axi motors and include several innovations. One innovation is that most of the range are outrunners in a case - there are no external moving parts to foul with cables or parts of the aircraft. They benefit from the high torque of the outrunner design but can be fitted in tight spaces - they can even be strapped to the engine bearers in models designed for glow motors. The three gold bullets for connection to the ESC are on the rear of the motor for easy and convenient connection.

Another innovation is that the motors are designed with efficient cooling in mind - the centre of the motors are open to allow air to pass through, and some even have built in fans for continuous running applications (these are designated SPORT motors).

I have been appointed agent for MVVS electric motors in Australia and am working in cooperation with MVVS Australia that imports the glow motor range. I am stocking all electric motors for fixed wing aircraft - the helicopter motors are available to special order.

Below I have listed all the motors and parts in stock. I have included recommendations from the manufacturer as to the use of each motor - please note that the recommendations are for the maximum size model envisaged for gentle flying (such as a glider). If you want to use the motor in a hotliner, you may need to reduce the maximum weight recommended for efficient operation. If you click on the link given below, it will take you to the MVVS web site where more detailed information is available. Eventually pages will appear on this site that give you more detail.

The 2.0 - 5.5 motors come with female gold plated bullet connectors, but do not include a prop adaptor.
