| All Scorpion speed controllers are constructed to the highest standards. Each controller has a ribbed aluminium heatsink to provide maximum surface area - it is bonded to the FETs with conductive heat transfer tape.
All LVC Scorpion controllers are BEC types that will operate the radio from a power supply of 6-15V, so can be used with 5-12 cell NiMH packs, or 2-4 LiPo. All SW Scorpion controllers are SBEC types that will operate the radio from a power supply of 6-26V. Scorpion controllers can be operated right up to the rated amps level - perfromance is guaranteed by a 2-year warranty. The Scorpion programming module that you can see in the picture above is supplied with every Scorpion controller at no extra charge. The new V.2 controllers all have the infra-red programmer pictured on the right. Over-current and over-temperature circuitry reduces the power to the motor if the limits are exceeded. If you push a Scorpion controller too hard, it will save itself (if these options are selected). |
