| The GP4300 is the latest development in NiMH competition cells. About 12 months ago the GP-3700 became available and gave a significant boost in performance for sub-C size competition cells. The significant factor is the internal resisitance - low internal resistance means an ability to deliver more current. The GP-3700 dropped the internal resistance form 5 milli-ohms (for the GP-3300) to 3 milli-ohms.
Only one year later, the GP-4700 represents a 14% increase in capacity, and an even lower internal resistance of 2 milli-ohms at the cost of a little more weight per cell. David Hines, preparing for the 2006 F5B World Championships, reports that he is drawing 235A and gaining an extra 200 rpm with the new cells. Wow! If you want the most powerful cells available at the moment - for 7-cell glider or F5B - these are the ones - in stock now. Size: diameter 23mm x length 43mm.
