Back to Motors Main Page
Hyperion have released a new series of outrunner motors specifically designed for use in gliders, or any application where the nose is thin. There is a GS22 series (detailed on another page) and the GS30 series which replaces all previous narrow-nosed motors.

The new GS series use Japanese 0.2mm stator steel and NMB bearings. The magnets and windings will stand 200 degrees centigrade and all construction in by CNC lathe. Consequently, these motors are a quality product that will stand higher temperatures and amps than previous models. The motors currently available are all 37.5mm diameter with 16mm of 5mm steel shaft protruding from the case - lengths and weights vary according to magnet and stator size.

Sizes available are:
Please note - prices have increased dramatically due to a world-wide shortage of rare earth magnets - prices in black are the old price - some stock remains at this price - see comments in red for availability and new prices)

GS-3014 in 10 and 16 wind - weight 134g, length 46.3mm - price $89 (all three motors in stock at the old price)

GS-3020 in 6, 8 and 12 wind - weight 176g, length 52.5mm - price $99 (GS3020-06 and 12 only in stock at the old price - new stock will be $154)

GS-3025 in 4, 8 and 10 wind - weight 207g, length 58.5mm - price $109 (GS3025-04 and 08 are in stock at $124 - only 10 wind remains at old price)
(please note that the hot, 4 wind motor replaces the competition 3025-6)

GS-3032 in 4, 6 and 8 wind - weight 296g, length 78.3mm - price $159 (only GS3032-06 and 08 remain at old price - 4 wind is now $223)
