Hyperion have excelled themselves - this manufacturer of the Emeter has come up with an advanced range of radio receivers at excellent prices. These receivers are single conversion, but use Berg DSP technology - they check the quality of the incoming signal and clean them up. Any bad signals are rejected.
There is also a Transmitter Signal Recognition system which learns the signal characteristics of your transmitter and rejects signals from other transmitters.
And there is more - all brands of radio have a specific amount of signal shift (that's why the frequency of the Rx crystal is really different to that of your Tx crystal). The Hyperion receivers automatically detect the signal shift of your transmitter and adjust for this characteristic. This means that they are compatible with all brands of transmitter, despite different signal shift characteristics.
These new technology receivers give you the best chance of avoiding interference that is around today.
