Aero-naut Fournier RF-4D kit

We are talking here about a super-scale model of 2.815m wingspan weighing in at about 5kg.

The wings are foam cores sheathed in obechi veneer, with the ailerons already hinged.

All of the detail is added with fibreglass, ABS and butyrate moulded parts supplied with the kit. The accessories pack is staggering with all conceivable parts supplied. The accessories include a retractable main wheel with all the retract gear - mechanism, pneumatic ram, air cylinder and hoses. The double-blade, scissors action spoilers are also supplied, as is the instrument detail for the cockpit.

Recommended power is an Actro-24-5 outrunner motor on 16-20 cells each - or 5S-6S LiPo - swinging a 14x8" to a 16x8"" prop. The Actro-24-5 is a 435 kV motor of 50mm diameter and 58mm length weighing 350g. Any similar motor could be substituted, for example a Hyperion 4035/10 with a Hyperion 50A or 80A controller would be suitable.

A 50A controller would be suitable if you keep the amps low, but an 80A would allow more experimentation with prop size and a larger amp draw to optimise flight characteristics.

Note - I do not keep these kits in stock, but place a special order on your behalf - to achieve this price I need to order a minimum of two aero-naut kits - when you place your order I will advise if I have accompanying orders that help to reduce the freight costs - the only alternative for an urgent order is to increase the price to cover extra freight.

A 20% deposit is required at the time of placing the order with Germany.
