The Defender kit from Astroflight-Leisure Australia will suit you if you want to build up your own 7-cell electric glider and save money. This kit is Australian designed and produced by Malcom Buckmaster. Malcolm is a very experienced electric flier, and has brought all his experience to bear upon producing a kit that is easy to build, and flies well.

One of the advantages of this kit, besides coming with all accessories and well detailed plans and instructions, is that it also comes with a Leisure long gearbox. You can fit any standard 600 or improved ferrite motor and know that you will have a good flier.
